Geidson DosReis, the owner of Lux Detailing in Duxbury, wanted to move away from Wix and their high monthly fee to keep the site up. He did not want to lose any content from his Wix website in the process. He also did not want the site down for long enough to cripple the SEO and Google placement of his site.
In this situation we always make a copy of the client's website before doing anything else. We copied every section of his old Wix website, including every single piece of text and all images. We do this so we can put it back together exactly the way it was.
After saving all the content, we then migrated his domain from Wix to GoDaddy. Next, we setup his hosting through GoDaddy at about $7.00 a month (yes that's right - seven dollars). His domain was then ready to be rebuilt on and have WordPress installed.
At this point we began putting his website back together piece-by-piece. In less than 2 weeks we had his site completely finished and looking exactly the way it did on Wix. The new site we built had cosmetic and functional upgrades and better back end organic SEO. We also made sure his custom digital coupon system worked perfectly and even implemented a powerful lead generating custom contact form.
This job was completed in early February of 2024. The owner couldn't have been more pleased with the results of our work. We really enjoyed working with Geidson, he has a real eye for design and that made the project fun. He recently left us an amazing 5 star review detailing how he feels about the job we did and the website we built.
